Yoga for me has been a path to remembering who I am. Within my yoga practice I find this space where time seems to stand still long enough to find a peacefulness within this body I've been given, a time to feel the incredible life force that flows from deep within, a time to feel the call within my heart, and a time to take in the presence of God that is always there waiting   patiently for me to simply be there. Yoga to me is a time to feel how grateful I am for this life that I've been given, and time to feel the amazing healing that waits within the stillness, a time where we can allow the opening and power of the love of this Great Spirit to pour through us. The healing that I have found for myself and many others along my yogic path has been miraculous, to put it mildly. I am eternally grateful. I invite each of you to return to yourself. To embrace all of your strengths and weaknesses, in your light and in your deepest darkness, to come join me on this path. Be brave and love even more deeply this life we have been given, with all of our hearts. Come even closer to Yourself and hear your heart song. NAMASTE

With her heart as a compass Michelle guides her students into the true essence of Yoga, integrating the fullest expression by stepping deeply into the body, stilling the mind, and freeing the spirit. Her teaching style, both playful and  strong, empowers students   to   challenge  their

assumptions as well as their bodies. Michelle's unwavering trust in spirit helps us to lift the veils of consciousness revealing to us our authentic self, inspirational guidance, and divine healing. Minds open, hearts expand, physical systems come to claim the healing and strength of their true potential, and the Yoga of Life explodes.

Michelle has studied yoga and energy work since 1990, where her spiritual journey to reclaim herself began after leaving a broken marriage with two young daughters. Much of her strength and courage came from her spiritual practice helping to create strong roots and a deep trust in love to raise her two beautiful daughters. She has studied with many master teachers such as Integrative Yoga Therapy with Joseph LePage, Advanced  Flow Yoga with Shiva Rea, YogicArts with Duncan Wang, and Mat Pilates with Valerie Love Kitt, to name a few.

Holding The Posture

I hold with focused breath,

heat radiating from a

firm intention to surrender.

I stretch, finding strength inside

my fear of failure. Body shakes,

then softens. Wild mind races

off a blind ride and then

returns to inner sensations.

Breath pulses, prays, plays

through the center of the pose

and brings me- the willing,

willful, seeker, finder- brings

me to the beauty of my soul.
